Yes Mai is a girl with a great secret, you see every 500 years one of the ancient dragon riders is reborn again. They have no memory of their past until they discover their true aura. From their aura the dragon is born. Mai has just discovered that aura and now her destiny will be written in blood. She must go forth on an incredible journey to stop the Destructive One.
Her and 5 others must set out to stop this force that they have been brought back for. One thing is for sure...You can't escape your purpose...your destiny... The reason you were born.

Personality: Athena is very much a loner, constantly shutting others out. She doesn't like or wish to shut others out, but her trust has been misplaced before, and she's afraid of it happening again. She prefers to challenge something solo, and is hard to get close to. When it comes to new people, she tries her best to throw them off her. But if someone gets lucky enough to get close to her, they may just break the wall she built up.

History: Athena comes from a young life of trouble. Becoming a foster child at the age of seven was enough to drive her into depression. It was only worse when she began to be passed from family to family, each using her for some sort of goal or motive or plainly not liking her before giving her back. With each family, her happiness that had survived became less and less. It is now that she lives on her own, against the will of the foster program, with nothing more than the clothes on her back, and a package she received from an unknown person.
