First post:

I closed my eyes hoping to shut out the light that came through the curtains. I finally threw the heavy comforter off my body. The cold air seeping through my pajama pants. I stood on my shaky legs, my knees had always been bad so I forced myself forward. I put my pale hands on the curtains and pulled them closed. I wanted nothing more then to crawl back into bed and fall into a deep sleep just before the presentation I had to prepare for my guests but I knew that I couldn’t. I had several finishing touches to put into order. I finally left getting undressed and heading for my suite’s shower. I sighed as the warm water hit my skin. I couldn’t help but smile, excited and pleased at how smart I had planned this, Lippy, Barbara, I’m counting on you…….

Now all you guys have to say is arriving and well getting unpacked into your suites!

A long Black Limousine without scratch or dent or even a look of use pulled up.A single window rolled down, Xavier looking at the name, hoping to match the address correctly.

"Ok, this is the place, lets see what this is all about..."

He exited the Limo and walked into the building, a man carrying his suitcases.He showed the Manager his Letter and recieved the key to his room.He proceeded to readying for this meeting while the man finished unpacking and left, entering the Limo and leaving for the night.

As I was running around frantically and holding my stomach to prevent the baby from bouncing around in side the womb to try to get the final preparations . I ran to the stage and pulled the projector screen down and put the disc I the player then ran to the back of the stage "OK April all we have to do now I wait for her to get done and wait for everyone to arrive."

I came through the rotating door of the front entrance of the hotel. I pulled my suitcase behind me as I had the two cases over my shoulders. I looked around the looby, so many people. This was definately the biggest hotel I had ever been to.

I went up to the front desk and got my room key after giving them my name. I headed for the elavator as I still wondered why I was invied here.

I finally turned the nob and the calming water shut off. I placed my hands on my black hair and twisted, the water draining out. I then stepped out, grabbing a white towel and wrapping it around my body. My hotel room was cold, I didn't like it hot, because then I became annoyed with things more and faster. I walked over to my bag once my towel was secured around me. I opened the bag and took out my make up. "Why do I even try?" I asked myself as I looked at my eyeshadow. The same stuff for 10 years? ***** I needed to change. I walked back into the bathroom and whiped away the fog from the mirror. I could tell that these late nights had left a toll on me. I looked as tired as I felt.

I applied my make up and looked into the mirror and smiled trying to see if I could become a bit more confident. No luck.

I sighed but gathered the make-up back up and stuffed them back into the bag. I then went through my clothes, I'd never been one to dress like anyone else. I was one to think outside the box.

I put on a green tanktop with clovers on it. Then I put white shorts on. My light green belt. I found my favorite jacket which was brown and the hood part of it was a cat. I put my clover bracelet on and tied a bit of red string in my now dry hair.

I pulled my headphones out of my pocket and put them over my ears. I scrolled through my songs and found my favorite song, Been There Done That - Hedley. God I was boring

I walked over and sat on my bed opening my black, sleek laptop and opened my project. Placing the finishing touches on my best work. Extra lines, better sounds, adjusting volume.

Today was the day, to meet some old friends...

As I walked into my room I could hear the sound of a shower turning off in the room above mine. I set down my gear and walked around the massive suite. "****, I wonder whose paying for all this." I said as I looked around the amazing room.

After I settled in I pulled out my Goth T-Bird from its case and started to play some simple bass lines. With the way my amp was set the ceiling was probably ratleing a bit. I felt bad for the person above me for shaking there floor under there feet but I didn't care right now.

I finally finished by putting my song on the dead end. One I had loved from the moment I heard it. I saved it and clicked the button to turn it off.

I suddenly felt the bed shake. I began to think hard, "What is that?" I said slowly. I sighed anyway and opened my binder, I was so busy with my job now a days and today was my only shot.

A thought struck me and I smirked wide. A pearly fang showed and the cool air danced onto my teeth. I turned to my last section in my binder. The room below mine, It was one of my guests. I chuckled to myself, "Oh your so smart," I said to myself.

I hopped off the bed and cleared my throat. This was a chance to mess with him. I never go to have any fun, hell I didn't even have a life.

Both of my best friends were prego and I was............alone. Well not counting Edward. He was asleep in the other room though so I decided not to wake him.

I smiled as I pretended to be angry and stomped on the floor, "Will you quit that!" I yelled. If he came up I promised myself I wouldn't answer, not yet.

With the last fix on his hair, the fresh clothes, the colonge, and his cell in his pocket, Quinn exited his room, the key in hand.He walked further down the halls and finally reached a single elevator.He pressed the button several times and soon entered.A song from ten years ago played, he tried to recognize it, but couldn't completely remember.It wasn't until the song was over that the Artists popped into his head.It was that Jonas Brother's Song that featured Miley Cyrus, wat was it... "Born to Party"?

The doors opened and he was happy to get out of there, several songs from the same artists had been playing on the seemingly endless trip up..He walked down until finally he heard clicks and taps on a keyboard.He looked at the number for a few seconds before knocking on the door.

"Hello... it's... Quinn... Quinn Xavier...Um... did you call me here?"He asked quietly.

It seemed that as soon as he asked, the person inside seemed to retaliate.

"Will you quit that!"

Quinn backed off before kocking again.

"Hello... Miss..."

I looked up at the ceiling when they yelled and I heard that voice. "Ohhhhh, so that why I'm here." I said with a smirk.

I placed the bass on its stand and picked up my special B.C. Rich Bich and plugged it into my Line 6 Spider Amp and set it to Insane. I hit one simple cord that ripped through the air, before palm-muting the strings. I looked up at the ceiling waiting for a reaction.

I was a bit caught off guard. *****! I thought out loud. It was suppressed. "Go talk to Barbara in the Auditorium, She'll help you," I said. I began to wonder how Quinn had gotten my room number but shook it off. "I'm a bit busy with the events for later tonight, Sorry," I shouted again. The blast echoed through my room, "Please no," I said softly. My prayer was in vein. There was a shuffle and I cursed under my breath, "Edward, I'm coming," I said heading off to deal with him. I wanted nothing more then to curse him a new ******* but decided that dealing with Eddy was my best option.

Quinn just nodded, deciding it would be best to avoid fighting with whoever was talking to him.But then he caught something, a name, Barbara, he knew only one person who knew that name.It had to be Jade, it just had to be.Instead of greeting her, he started to walk towards the elevator and then walked back in the other direction and headed for the stairs.

I heard a lot of moving around and another persons voice above me. I turned down the amp and put on a clean setting. I started to play an easy song as I sang with the simple stums of my guitar.

I wasn't sure if she could here me anymore but I wanted to keep playing and she seemed to need a break from the heavy stuff.

I took the bottle in my hand to the sink washing away the white milk that still clung to the container. He was hungry.........go figure. The only things he seemed to need from me was food, diaper change and/or something for a nightmare.

I sighed as I filled it with his formula and shook it up with the warm water. Instant milk! I took it back into the back room.

After I finished I came out of the room and slouched outside the door. He was finally asleep....

I looked at my watch, still several hours left.......

I heard the soft notes I had heard when I was younger. I felt tears threaten but pushed them away. Instead I stood grabbing my laptop and my things shoving them into my bag. I bit my tonuge trying to stop this heavy feeling. Finally swallowing the lump in my throat I opened my green eyes. I looked to the far mirror by the door, Still the same old me, the same old Jade.



I smiled for the first time in a long time at my own reflection. I felt better now, That was over and done. I took in a big breath and breathed out. I felt refreshed. It was still several hours away and Barb and Lippy were sure taking their sweet *** time.

I grabbed a spare blanket and Edward's formula and put them into his bag. I hung it over my shoulder and put my laptop inside as well. I placed my black cord in the bag too. I put my bag by the door and decided to catch up on that missed sleep. I slipped into Eddy's room and curled up beside him and falling into a sleep.

As my song came to an end I heard more moving around as she moved into the other room. I heard the crying for a few minutes before it came to a stop and all the moving sounds seem to stop.

I stood and messed with my amp even more until it made my guitar sound completely acoustic. I turned up the volume just a bit so the gentle sound could still be heard as I started to sing.

Quinn continued down the stairs, which seemed to have copied the elevator in appearance and annoyance.The stairs seemed endless, they shared the rug and wallpaper of the elevator, and yes more Elevator Music played down each stairwell, the same artists blaring louder as he made it towards the Auditorium.

"The owner is either a fan, or a real messed up person to be blaring those wannabe artists..."Quinn muttered as he descended down the final set of stairs.

Pushing through the doors was release, bliss, escape, and best yet quiet.He quickly found his way to the Auditorium, noticing what he made out as Barbara.

"Excuse me... Barbara? I'm Quinn, Jade... instructed... me to... come..."He said getting quieter.

I smiled politely and thought she must be out of the shower..*Yes, hello Quin I'm Barbara . So Jade instructed you to come see me ? Well why don't you pick a seat on the front row ?* I said as I extended my arm towards the seats behind us.

I stood from the bed, My hair was slightly screwed up but hey. I walked out quietly and looked back smiling at my small bundle. I loved him more then the air I breathed.....

I walked back into my main room and grabbed my brush running it through my hair a few times giving it back its soft feeling. I put it away and walked back into the room and grabbed the bundle cooing softly to keep him sleeping.

While holding Edward in one arm, I used the other to grab my bags and slinged them over my shoulder. I pulled my hood up and then gave Edward some comfort with my other arm. He gave a small noise but otherwise stayed silent. I opened my door and headed for the elevator. I clicked the Lobby botton and waited. Then I walked into the Auditorium. I snapped my fingers quickly. "Guys come here," I said quickly heading to the back to start setting up the computer.

My eyes slowly opened as I found myself waking up on the bed. My amp was buzzing before I picked up my guitar next to me and switched it to the Humbucker to stop the buzzing.

I seemed to fall asleep while I had been playing before and it seemed a few hours had passed. I stood and streched for a bit before cracking my knuckles and then my back. I took my guitar from the bed and placed it on the stand and switching off the amp.

I then head out the door, locking it behind me, before starting to wander around the hotel.

I came running the sound of Jade's voice *Finally you get out ... about time .. What else needs to be set up ?*

Quinn quietly took his seat and began to think over why Jade would want to bring him here.Then it occurred to him, he wasn't the only one she hung out with when everyone was extremely close.Dan, April, heck possibly his own brother were probably here too.His Brother, he hadn't seen him since his big break at 15, he wondered if he would show up.His mind started to wander on until a woman came in.It had to be Jade, she looked the way she described years ago, but more mature and grown up.

"Jade I..."

He noticed the bundle in her arms and fell silent against his want to know what he was doing here.
